Work Certified is a continuous improvement process...

"Skill standards are performance specifications that identify the knowledge, skills and abilities an individual needs to succeed in the workplace." (NSSB)

These skill standards define what a person must know and be able to do in order to perform work successfully at a specific job, within an occupational cluster or across an industry sector.

CERTIFICATION

The National Skill Standards Board was consulted throughout the development and implementation of the Work Readiness Certification Program to ensure all aspects required of certification programs were met.

There are, in fact, two separate certification programs associated with this program. One is for participants. The other is for instructors.

The results of our efforts is best represented by a spokesperson for the national Skill Standards Board at a national presentation
